Mrs. Maggie J. Graham Buried At Hamilton

Mrs. Maggie J. Graham, 72, widow of William R. Graham, died Tuesday morning at her home near Hamilton following a week’s illness from Rocky Mountain spotted fever caused by a tick bite. She was born in Tazewell but came with her husband to Loudoun in 1904. She was a member of the Catoctin Presbyterian Church and of the Blue Ridge Chapter, United Daughters of Confederacy. Funeral services were held from the home this morning, Rev. J.A. Bowman officiating. The pallbearers were her five sons-in-law and W.M. Hickam. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.

On his favorite horse, Highlander, in front of his home in Thompson Valley, Virginia. He was a Confederate veteran and served many years as magistrate in the Jeffersonville District.
